Sofila was founded by Justin Clark and Makaila Nichols. What started as two people from completely different worlds sharing a beer turned into something no one expected. They say opposites attract—and in this case, it led to not only a beautiful love story, but the creation of a media group built on partnership, passion, and purpose. And now, they’re getting married.

Makaila Nichols
Partner, Host & Producer
Makaila Nichols is the founder of a 501c3 called the Blatantly Honest Foundation. She travels the country to speak to youth about bullying prevention, mental health and more. Makaila is a best-selling author of “Blatantly Honest: Normal Teen, Abnormal Life" and also has a podcast series called "Blatantly Honest with Makaila Nichols" that focuses on changing the stigmas behind teen social issues.
She also is the Executive Director of the Miss Orlando Scholarship Program under the Miss America Organization and the Director of Sales and Marketing for Caribbean Moonshine.
